Invisalign and Spark clear aligners are a modern brace system designed to straighten teeth and align the jaw bones comfortably, conveniently and effectively. Both aligners are virtually-invisible, removable, and custom-designed to fit your unique smile.
For both aligner brands, you’ll receive sets of custom-made aligner trays. Each tray applies gentle, persistent pressure on the teeth and jaw bones over the course of your treatment period to shift the teeth into the desired end position.
How long does Invisalign take? Your treatment time will depend on your custom treatment plan. Spark and Invisalign results can be seen at every stage of treatment!
Once you visit us for your complimentary consultation, we can help you determine if you’re a good candidate for clear aligners. If so, we’ll take diagnostic x-rays and impressions of your teeth, using the advanced iTero® digital scanner. This impression system will develop a 3-D model of the inside and outside of your teeth, and we’ll use this to create your treatment plan.
You’ll switch out one set with a new set every two weeks or so (depending on your treatment plan). You’ll visit us approximately every eight to ten weeks for a check-in throughout your treatment process. Although every case is unique, treatment is generally completed within six to fifteen months! (We’ll give you a better estimate at your first visit.)
Although Invisalign is generally better known than Spark, Spark is equally as effective, advanced and comfortable as Invisalign. Both are high-quality invisible braces!
When we complete your complimentary exam, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of each treatment option to help you make the best decision for your smile and your lifestyle. Based on your specific case, one brand may be better suited than the other.
We offer both brands, because we want you to have options and we want you to be involved in the decision-making process. That’s how the best results are created!
